Bryant Lazaro:
The Florida Soccer School is proud to present you the youngest American Head Coach to have managed professionally in Europe (at 32 years of age) while in charge of Oygarden FK in the 2020 Obos-Ligaen (Norwegian First Division). Coach Bryant Lazaro, was the Head of Player Development at Club Deportivo Cuenca in LigaPro (Ecuador) before returning to Norway where he was the head of coaching educaiton for the Norwegian Football Coaches Association. In 2023, Coach Lazaro returned coaching when he joined Valerenga I.F. Coach Lazaro holds an Argentine CONMEBOL PRO License, from the prestigious Adolfo Pedernera Coaching School in La Plata, Argentina, as well as Spanish PRO Certification. He completed a Master in Talent Identification in Football and an MBA in Sport Management from the Real Madrid Graduate School and then went on to coach for three in the Levante UD (La Liga) Academy in Valencia, Spain. In 2016, he joined Sevilla FC (Spain) as a coach for the U-21 team.
Diego Placente:
The International Soccer School is proud to present Diego Placente, youth national team coach for the Argentina Futbol Association (AFA). Coach Placente is the Head Coach for the AFA U-17 National Team and also assists Pablo Aimar with the AFA U-15 National Team. Born in Buenos Aires, Placente started playing professionally in 1996 with Argentinos Juniors, before moving to Argentine giant River Plate. In 2001, he transferred to Bayer 04 Leverkusen. In 2002, Diego Placente and Bayer 04 Leverkusen took the UEFA Champions League by storm, eliminating Arsenal, Juventus, Liverpool and Manchester United on their way to the UEFA Champions Final. In the Champions League Final, Diego Placente played again a star-studded Real Madrid team that included Zidane, Figo, Roberto Carlos, Solari, and Raul. Placente also had a great career Internationally with Argentina. In 1997, he won the FIFA U-20 World Cup held in Malaysia, finished second in the 2004 Copa Americaheld in Peru, and second in the FIFA Confederations Cup in Germany. In 2017, Coach Placente joined the AFA Youth National Team coaching staff. From 2017 to 2023 he served as the head coach for the AFA U-15 National Team. In 2017, he used his vast experiences playing in Europe and with Argentina, to help lead the AFA U-15 National Team to win the 2017 FIFA U-15 World Cup, held in Argentina. Most recently, Coach Placente led the U-17 AFA National Team to a 4th place finish at the 2023 U17 FIFA World Cup.
Michael Bunel:
Le Havre’s list of alumni makes for impressive reading. World Cup winners, European champions and some of the most expensive players in history have passed through the French club’s academy over the years. Paul Pogba, Riyad Mahrez, Dimitri Payet, Lassana Diarra, Édouard Mendy, Benjamin Mendy and Steve Mandanda all called the club home in their formative years. Over the past 4 decades, Le Havre has become known as one of the most prestigious academies in France. Le Havre AC technical director Michael Bunel is rightly proud of the achievements of the club’s ‘famous Academy.’ He puts their success with nurturing talents like PaulPogba, Benjamin Mendy and Dimitri Payet down to one thing that separates good players from the top players - football intelligence.
Bunel, a UEFA A and UEFA Youth Elite A Licensed Coach, is a technical director of U6-U16 players and works with Methodology at Le Havre AC. Bunel carries a lot of successes with him having won the U15 Cup four times, U17 Cup two times, Champion of Ligue 2 Pro, and the Vice Champion of the Reserve Team Cup. Throughout his time with the Pro Academy, Bunel has also served as the Le Havre AC Senior Team Assistant Coach and Women’s Senior Team Head Coach.
Quique Cesana:
The International Soccer School is extremely excited to present Professor (Coach) Quique Cesana, of the Argentina Futbol Association (AFA). Coach Cesana is the physical trainer/coach for the Youth National Teams of Argentina - Argentina Futbol Association. He works together with Bernardo Romeo (AFA General Coordinator), Diego Placente (AFA U-17 Head Coach) and Pablo Aimar (AFA U-15 Head Coach) to provide physical training methodology and implementation for the U-13, U-15 and U-17 Youth National Teams of Argentina. Most recently, Coach Cesana assisted Coach Diego Placente and the U-17 AFA National Team reach the 2023 FIFA U-17 World Cup semi-finals in Indonesia.
